I draw a lot, either little cartoons about how my day is going or just odd things I’ve seen or silly jokes. Being able to draw is very useful for storyboards and models and stuff like that, but mostly I just draw for my own amusement.
I make a lot of drawing of Gary. He’s easy to draw because he’s such a distinctive shape, and being very long and lanky he twists his limbs up in interesting ways.
This is Gary playing his amplified typewriter. I want to do a film where he plays it in a huge hall, it makes a phenomenal racket.
